Moira Conlan is an archivist and professional genealogist with over 15 years of experience. With a Bachelors of Art in History from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Masters of Library Science from Simmons College with a concentration in preservation and archival management, Moira has conducted research and guided others in their own research in state, local and private archives and museums across the country. She is well versed in Archival best practices after her years of working in repositories of many sizes, as well as grant writing and implementation. She currently guides small repositories in their implementation of best practices through the Traveling Archivist program with the state of Connecticut.
